Seas Prestige U18RNX/P (H1571) 6.5" Woofer 

The Seas U18RNX/P is a 6.5” High Fidelity woofer with an injection moulded metal chassis, intended for bass reflex and transmission line designs.

The Seas U18RNX/P utilizes a new Curv cone, a woven polypropylene with excellent internal damping together with perfectly matched moving parts gives a smooth, extended frequency response.

Bumped back plate in the magnet system, together with the very long and light weight copper clad aluminium voice coil, allow extreme coil excursion with low distortion.

Heavy copper ring below the T-shaped pole piece will reduce non linear and modulation distortion.

Large windows in the basket both above and below the spider reduce sound reflection, air flow noise and cavity resonance to a minimum.

The Seas U18RNX/P is used along with the 27TBCD/GB-DXT in the Idunn Kit.

The frequency responses above show measured free field sound pressure for the U18RNX/P in 0, 30, and 60 degrees angle using a 28L closed box. Input 2.83 Vrms, microphone distance 0.5m, normalized to SPL 1m.The dotted line is a calculated response in infinite baffle based on the parameters given for this specific driver. The impedance is measured in free air without baffle using a 2V sine signal.
