Excel Magnet Systems:
Seas EXCEL magnet systems utilize heavy copper rings above and below the gap that reduce flux modulation and distortion caused by eddy currents. A solid Phase plug is used to encourage heat transfer throught the magent and voice coil system. This enable higher power handling and performance.
EXCEL Tweeters:
Excel Tweeters are available in 25mm and 29mm diaphragm sizes and incorporate textile, aluminium and and high purity dome materials. All Excel tweeters utilize extremely stiff die-cast front plate and rear chamber assemblies for maximum stability and control even through trying circumstances. This also allows for excellent heat transfer and and minimum cabinet induced vibration. Excel tweeters also feature advanced magnet systems which combine high flux with optimum venting of the critical areas behind the dome. They utilize magnets constructed of high strength neodymium or ferrite. Large vent holes placed around critical areas of the pole piece combined with critically placed damping materials, result in smooth, audiophile grade responses. |
